Micro Link, Micro Loop, Bead Hair Extensions

What is Micro Loop Hair Extensions?

This method of Semi Permanent Hair Extensions technique that is a preferred method for most users.

This post will give you some advice and a very general view on what Micro Loop Hair Extensions are.

I have enlisted the help of some google images to  help demonstrate what is available.
As always its best to research what method would work well for you & your personal needs.

Easy loop, micro bead hair extensions are just that EASY!

A great option for those who want to try a semi-permanent method without the possible damage that Tape or glue based fusion methods can have on the inexperienced.

Again! Please seek professional advice if you have questions.
Micro Loop have been known to create damage if installed incorrectly.

So.. What is a Micro Loops Extension?

These particular extensions go by many different names.
Commonly Micro Loop, Micro Bead or Bead Extensions are to name a few.

Ultimately they are a non-adhesive technique where a technician applying the bead bonds close to the scalp with a clamped bead bond.

They are approx 0.5 -1 gram per stand.
Half Head = 50 - 75 Strands
A full head = 100 -150 Strands
Full Head & Half = 150 -200 Strands

A Micro Loop is the easiest to install as they do come with a treading attachment included to each individual strand.
This treading attachment provides easy application.
Requiring only a pair of Pliers to complete installation!

Treader

All bead/ links should be pre-bonded with a silicone liner to cushion the natural hair from the copper bond.
This is what makes the difference between low & high quality products.

PRODUCT DETAILS:

SIZE OPTIONS:
There are a few different options in bead sizes.
These beads are also called links or rings.
Each method does have different installation instructions & tools.

Here is a photo of size difference of the Nano Ring vs Micro bead methods.

Micro Loop

Micro Loop approx 5mm

Nano
A very small undetectable option.
Very appealing however even more time consuming then the micro loo. They do not come with individual treaders.
Approx 2.5mm

Feather/I-tip TUBE
"These are Not Silicone lined "
Be sure to choose a option with lining
Used for feather extensions
A longer bond.
Beaded Weft

A beaded weft is a Hair Weft with bead attachment.
A easy to apply method that give extreme THICKNESS to the hair.
The prefect option for those who have thick hair or want a easy method with minimal damage.
A semi-permanent method that resembles clip ins with multiple different size wefts
Reusable installation, great quality bonds with no shedding.

NOTES:
*Damage can occur if the amount of hair used to hold the bond is to fine.
Example 0.5g of hair holding 1g Extension. Can result in excess weight to the natural hair leading to breakage & discomfort to the client.
**Metal bond links can "cut hair" if bond do not have silicone liners, ultimately they would be a copper bond only. Be aware of this low quality build !

APPLICATION:

Installation Method Type 1:
Easy Loop
Individual Treader with beads attached

Installation Method Type 2:

This is good for I-tip preferably

Micro Loop Hair Extensions have the easiest removal procedure.
It only requires the Pliers.
